New Voice Student Welcome Page
We truly hope that your first lesson went great and that all the information covered by your instructor was clear. We do suggest that you check the following videos to reinforce some of the concepts that your teacher covered during your class.
A great practice routine should always start with warm-ups and breathing exercises. Check out the first ones we recommend in this playlist.
There isn't much equipment needed to get started with voice lessons, since your instrument is YOU! We do recommend a couple of accessories to enhance our singers practice experience at home.
Here are the basics:
1) Mirror
2) A sturdy music stand
3) A portable speaker
Check the link below for the products that we recommend
Mirror
A decent size mirror (preferably big enough so the student can see their whole upper body) can help so the student can check their position and placement while practicing voice
Music Stand
We don't recommend practicing voice while sitting down especially for a beginner so a music stand is a must have accessory so the student can have the lyrics at a proper height so they do not look or lean down while practicing.
Speaker
You don't need a high power speaker but any basic computer speaker will be enough to play songs, tracks and karaoke tracks.
Check out the gear we recommend in the links below
